Hi

We have created a process for alerting staff when a lead has been assigned to them, we want to link to the lead so they can go straight to the lead from the email. in the email body we have clicked on "insert hyperlink" and selected Lead and Topic so it shows the lead "name" but when we run it the email comes through fine but the link doesn't work. any suggestions as to where we have gone wrong?

So our final email looks like

but when the email comes though the text looks like a link and you can click on it but it just hangs and then the mouse cursor goes back to the pointer.

    Hi louisa,

You can’t directly add dynamic record url to the email, but you can create new url field and add it to the lead form, then update the field when contact is created, then add the url field to the email in workflow.

So the only question is whether your url contains the Appid

     pastedimage1615789190116v1.png

    1.Include.

    (1) Create a new url field in lead entity and add it to the form.

    (2) Go Power Automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/ ) to create an automated flow.

    (3) Trigger is “When a record is created”.

    (4) Initialize variable

copy the url without guid from the bar directly.

    (5)Update a record.

    (6)Test,

    pastedimage1615790253347v7.png

For existing lead, you can create an instant flow (trigger is when a row is selected), other steps is same with automated flow.

    pastedimage1615790320700v8.png

    (7) Now, you can add URL field to the email in the worklflow.

    2. Not Include.

you can directly add {Record URL(Dynamic)} to the email in the workflow.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

You need to send the Record URL in the email.

    Please see flowing post:
