Email receipts with signatures

We customized our receipt process so that we can print a signature on the receipt.  However, we are now turning on email receipt and noticed that we are having issues with getting the signature block to appear on the email receipt.  Has anyone successfully done this?

    If you are referring to a signature image, you cannot embed the image/logo on the receipt body. You can use the HTML<img> that points to a custom service that can provide the signature. This way, the signature will be loaded when the customer views the email.

    Note: Usually we don't add any signatures on electronic documents and just add a disclaimer "This document is computer generated and does not require a signature". Saving and sending a customer's signature over email is an overhead from the data privacy point of view.

    Thanks Shafeeque for the prompt response.  I completely agree with your advise and I think we are going to go that route with putting the verbiage in there and avoiding the overhead and data privacy issues with signatures.
