    Hi Kristin,

In the real-time marketing, there is one library add-on.

The asset library add-on supports images (such as JPEG, GIF, and PNG files), videos (such as MP4, AVI, and MPEG files), and documents (such as Word documents, PowerPoint files, and Adobe PDFs).

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/real-time-marketing-asset-library

Then you can refer to the following documentation, link to video stored in the asset library:

You might be able to try embedding in the HTML source and linking to a video asset and using video parameters in the embed to auto-play.

The real-time marketing asset library add-on has been retired by Microsoft. Currently, the editor for real-time marketing does not feature a video element like the outbound email editor does. The only supported reference to video with basic functionality is the "Link to" a video asset in the library mentioned by Leah but it isn't an embedded auto-play. Even in outbound, it still seems to be largely about embedding a thumbnail of the video and not actually auto-playing it.

    Thank you for your reply.

I do not even have the option to link to video in real time. The final option I have is File download.

I tried to see if it was possible to chose file download and access an uploaded video that way but no luck.

Here is a great resource on video in email from a trusted source - Litmus:

    www.litmus.com/.../

It has some data (may be slightly dated but still decent) on email client support for video in emails.

It has some instructions around how to embed video  via HTML source if you are hosting your video somewhere, say Vimeo or YouTube.

One word of caution around auto-play - it's not great from an accessibility standpoint and some browsers will block the autoplay. More info on that here...

    developer.mozilla.org/.../Autoplay_guide

    Good luck!
