Someone provided me with the following scenario and question...does anyone have an answer by any chance please?
When an organization orders 100 BC-SaaS licenses (CSP) for a tenant which has 4 country environment in that tenant (e.g. 4 countries with each of them their BC localization per country)
This question was submitted by a Reseller, so after providing the following links along w/your response, I suggested he contact his Indirect Provider or MS sales.
Thank you for confirming my understanding!
hi
Dual use rights allow a customer to deploy Microsoft software either in the cloud or on-premises. However, the exact terms and conditions can vary based on the specific licensing agreement between the customer and Microsoft.
In this scenario, if the organization has purchased 100 BC-SaaS licenses for a tenant with 4 country environments, it is best to review the licensing agreement to determine if dual use rights are included and the terms and conditions for on-premises deployment.
Assuming dual use rights are available, the number of users that can be assigned to each on-premises installation would depend on the specific terms of the licensing agreement. It is recommended to review the agreement or consult with a Microsoft licensing expert for more information.
