Hi Team - Happy Wednesday! I am new to MDSL and I focus primarily on the accounting side. I do have a question about inventory. Is there a way to "sell" inventory without creating an invoice? We would need to create an invoice going forward but there is usually a lag time between when we send the inventory product and when we send the invoice. Any suggestions?

    What SL modules are you using?  Do you have the Inventory or Order Management modules?

    Yes we have both. We need to ship the order prior to invoicing.

    Hi Joanncpm,

    Confirming the shipper in OM causes the Sales Journal to create the batches for IN and AR.  I suppose you could print your packing slip and send out the items but wait to confirm the shipper.  You probably could rearrange your order steps on your Order Type to accomplish what you want.
