SmartConnect - G/L Transaction with Multi-Currency Rate

Posted on by 245

Good Evening,

I need some help. I am trying to duplicate an existing Integration Manager integration for G/L transactions that uses a multi-currency rate table. I am running into an issue with an unbalanced journal entry and am unsure what fields to actually map.

If there is someone who is willing to help me create this map, I would greatly appreciate it. I can give you the source file I am trying to use as well as screenshots of how our system is setup.

This is my integration to move over to SmartConnect.

Thanks,

Lori

Mick - I'm also able to create the journal however; I'm getting the unbalanced message when I'm creating the distribution and I think it's due to the calculation of the exchange rate which we are using divide so the decimal places are not rounding correctly however; I can't find how to fix this. Do you have any other ideas?

    Lori,

I entered a Multicurrency Transaction using Z-AUD, ensured a current exchange rate existed, and only selected the Currency ID field in the Smartconnect GL Create Journal, and the transaction imported correctly.

In the Create Journal Mapping, ensure you have Grouping, at Least selected for your BatchNumber.

The trick here is select BatchNumber as the key field in your source, and then in the Create Journal.  You will get other errors if other fields are selected as Key Fields, and not part of the grouping, so keep it simple.

This sounds like the reason for the imbalance.
