Thanks Mahmoud for your immediate reply.
Dear Mahmoud,
Could you please send the SQL script to find the difference b/w HITB and GL.
Regards,
Uma
DMECHAM, I would strongly suggest you contact your GP Partner for assistance. The process is not for the novice user. In fact, it is not for the advanced user. You need someone very familiar with the process and the ability to execute SQL queries in SQL Management Studio to perform this for you.
I just have a simple question on this issue, If the HITB reset has never been deployed, how can you print the HITB report ? Can you please check whether you have SEE30303 table in your company database. To do so, a simple select statement would do the job;
SELECT * FROM SEE30303
For the HITB Reset tool deployment, you may check the following references:
Your feedback is highly appreciated,
Ok. How do I run the HITB reset process? How do the HITB records become validated by the process? I'm a novice - evidently.
Okay, to get the GL and HITB to agree, you MUST run the HITB reset process. In a nutshell, the reset process forces the GL to agree with the HITB, after the HITB records have been validated by the process.
I would bet that the HITB reset process has NEVER been run. As for GJ entries, yes there were a bunch at the beginning; when the company started using GP.
There are a number of issues that could be causing this. Do you know if and when the HITB reset process was run on the company database you're looking at? Are there any manual JE transactions in your inventory accounts?
We have GP 2010. And I'm not aware of when it last tied out.
