Hello,

I'm using mobile device wms with Ax 2012 R3,

So to connect in my mobile device i'm using internet browse and log on ( http://localhost:xxxxx/Execute/Display )

what i want to know is how to create menu in my mobile device and how can i work with it if I don't have internet connexion ( for example : work and transaction will be done in the mobile device on offline and after connexion all transaction must be  in ax 2012)

For conclusion, i want to connect mobile device with ax2012 without using internet browse, is there any solution, setting must be done ??

thanks in advance :)

The app is available for D365, don't see availability for AX2012 at this point. The browser based functionality is already on deprecated list. Don't think any offline capability exist either as it's directly connected all the time. If you want to look at offline capability, see if ISV like RFSmart can help.

There is a huge difference between Dynamics 365 and AX 2012 R3. AX 2012 R3 has the warehouse mobile device portal which is running on any internet browser. This is fully available for AX 2012 R3, but had been replaced with a native app in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

There is a misunderstanding that it requires internet. It requires network connectivity. In a warehouse, there is usually WiFi available which would run independent of internet. You can use the portal in your local network.

Some more background information can be found with help of the next links:
