Negative Extended Cost

I have a fulfillment order with no line items, yet I am seeing a negative extended cost. I am seeing this document in the Sales Transaction Table but not in the Sales Line Items table.

I have a voided document with the same scenario.

My concern is why is there a value for extended cost when there are no line items? Why is it negative?

If we have reports which use this table will it affect them? 

The voided document must have had an item number prior to voiding, but, why is a value present?

    There are may reason may cause for this issue.

    You can correct this issue by running Check links to Sales Transaction.

    This should not be the standard behavior of the sales transaction entry window,  it seems we are talking about irregular case such as corrupted data entry or back-end integration directly to SOP tables.

    As for the negative extended cost, you should be aware that the unit cost in any "out" transaction is not controlled by the entry window, either automatically filled out according to the valuation method of your inventory items such as (FIFO, LIFO,Average ... etc) . If you manually try to change the unit cost field for one of the line items on the SOP entry, you will be prompted not to do so, neither for negative nor for positive value.
