Hi,

I am trying to rename an item number but i am getting below error message. I cannot find anything wrong with the approved vendor. Does anyone know how to get around this?

    Hi C Wee,

    I think you are trying to rename the product to a number that was used before. Have you looked into the records of the PdsApprovedVendorList table? Probably open a table browser in  AX or direct in  SQL as this is a table which uses the date effectiveness framework to show current valid options.
