Process to update an extension on AppSource that has been already published – How does it work?

Please,

1) How does it work when an extension is already published on AppSource and that we need to update or correct a bug on it? Does we must pass through all the submitting validations again to update our extension on AppSource? In other words, does every modification on an extension published on Appsource should be re-validated again to be published on AppSource?

2) How a customer can get the last version of extension got through AppSource if the extension has been modified or version updated?

As far as I know:

1) Yes it must be validated.

2) Customer will see the latest version published on AppSource and he can update directly from there by downloading the latest version. Your code must have an Upgrade Codeunit inside.
