Form Editor button opens default form instead of selected form in design mode

Hi,

We recently updated our on-premise CRM 2016 version 8.1 to 8.2.

We have multiple forms on some of our entities like Accounts and Contacts. We are noticing that  when we click the Form Editor button on the form, it opens up the default form for that entity in design mode instead of opening the selected form in design mode in which the Form Editor button was clicked.

This is different behavior from what our developers are used to in CRM 2016 8.1 and even the previous CRM 2015 version.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior and know of any way to fix it back to the CRM 2016 8.1 behavior?

    Have you tried opening a support ticket with Microsoft to resolve the issue?

    It is the OOB behaviour.

    It's that, and, just so you are aware of another related change -bulk edit is also using that form now

    I've noticed the same behavior as well.

    Unfortunately, I don't have a fix. I've been backing out of the form, opening the entity itself for editing, and locating the form I need to update.

    The extra steps are very irritating.
