Analytical Accounting issue aag30001 duplicated

Hi , I have an issue with a customer with analytical accounting tables. The problem is in tables aag30001 and aag30002, that  there are many more distribution lines than in gl20000.I can see that then seqnumbr, gets repeated twice or more.  Although I could not reproduce the issue, I see that the information is ok in aag2000x tables , but get "multiplied" when inserted in aag3000x. Versión 2010 sp 4 . Thanks for your help.

    Dear Mahmoud:

Thank you for your reply. But my issue is as follow:

The aag30001 has more lines than aag20001. That is to say: when the document was generated (eg. an rm receipt) it has 2 dist lines. (in aag20001 - join aag20000 searching with docnumbr). then as it got posted RM (aag10000 x where created ) and finally GL posting (aag30000x where created and aag10000x where deleted.).

The resulting lines in aag30001 and aag30002 are reapeted many times with more aagldistid than originating in aag20001.

I am profiling the sp involved , (that are very hard to debug)  and I see the lines are created by cursors, so there is something wrong with the select in the create cursor, But i could not find it yet.

    regards,

    Martin

You need to check the relationship between AAG30000 (Header) and AAG30001 (Details). They are linked through the aaGLHdrID.  The number of distribution lines in AAG30001 should practically match the number of distribution lines in the GL tables.

One further note regarding the sequence number, the sequence number is used among each transaction header for the distribution lines, it is always multiples of 16384. So for each journal entry you will have 16384,32768 ..etc. It is not an indication of duplication, unless it is duplicated within the same header (Journal Entry)

You can check the data set in your Dynamics GP company by using the following GL Journal Entries with associated Analytical Accounting details - SQL Script

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,
