Inventory Movement - WHS AX 2012 R3

Dear All

I have one issue regarding Inventory Movement in the new Warehouse Management (WHS) for AX 2012 R3

The set up is as below

1. Movement Type

2. I created a work using "Create inventory movement work", quantity, destination location and movement type was set

3. Both source location and destination location is the same type of Bulk Location profile

4. One work was created with below steps

5. I configured the Menu Item for Inventory Movement as below

6. When I started the movement, Pick is completed successfully. But when I put to the destination, the error message below appears and work cannot be completed. If there is any hints for this, it will be very much appreciated

    Hi Nghia,

    Does it work if you un-tick 'Override target license plate' on the mobile device menu item?

    Are your pick / put locations enabled for license plates, or not?

    Hi Terry

    I tried to un-tick 'Override target license plate' as you suggested but the same error message appears

    Both Pick and Put location is of the same Location Profile and it is enabled for License Plate as in screenshot # 3 in my post

    Sorry - should have looked at your screenshots properly.

    With that setup, after I scan the LP that I am picking from, AX creates a Target LP for me (but allows me to override it). After I complete the pick, the stock is sat on that LP in my user location. After doing the put, the stock is in the To location on that LP.

    I don't get any errors. Is the error actually telling the truth - that the LP it generated is already use somewhere else? Can you check? Or can you override the suggested Target LP with something really random, that will never have been used before?

    Hi Terry

    I have resolved it myself simply by creating a new worker and use that worker for processing the Work

    I think it was because the first worker was created with a wrong User Location profile.

    - Old worker: profile is same as Bulk Location

    - New worker: profile is User Location
