I am unsure of the expected functionality with shared views from User A to User B with User B having a manager selected. After User A shares a persona view with User B, User B's manager can now see the personal view. (unexpected and undesired) This is an issue for us but I am unsure if this is a system setting, security set-up or a bug. Any thoughts?
Thank You,
Sal

I have the same question (0)Hi Sal,
This is the product behavior. Anything which is accessible to a user will also be accessible to its managers if manager hierarchy is enabled.
There is no way to disable it other than disabling the hierarchical security itself.

With the Manager hierarchy security model, a manager has access to the records owned by the user or by the team that a user is a member of, and to the records that are directly shared with the user or the team that a user is a member of. |
