After i successfully configured multitenant environment it will run from the RTC but when i try to run object (table or page) it gives the above error and i made sure the service is running.

    Hi Mohana & Khoa, Thanks to you, It's now connected. There was mistake in port setting and the serverInstance credentials I filled up.
    Almost half day passed on it since I am new to this.

    Hi Abdul,

    Hope you have same problem as I faced before. Check CustomSettings.config file of the service via notepad, especially key "ServerInstance" and "DatabaseName" will solve the problem (cannot be solved via NAV Administration Tool).

    Please check whether you have added correct database name in the service

    Hi Mohana,

    I am facing this issue. when I go inside the "Server Instance", it shows blank. I had one NAV Server instance by default for that SQL DB. I again added another one for the same SQL DB, still it showing blank in the 'Available Server instance' window.

    Hi Henric,

    Make sure you start NAV Service successfully, can be by NAV Administration Tool or Windows Services. Refresh screen for a while, and if the service is stop, Windows Event Log is helpful. Good lucks!

    Open the "Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 Administration" management console, and review your instance name, database name, etc.

    If your RTCs are running...your instance is running too.

    Open File-->Database-->Information

    Go to Server Instance and check whether there is servicetier selected or not

    if not, Click F6 and Select servicetier from available list
