A need to add a filter on dashboard, so that i can see data for only few months and not all months in x-axis(category).
Hi,
Yes it is possible to add filter on Dashboard.
To achieve this you will have to create Interactive dashboard which has global filter option where you can filter the records based on field. This is OOB feature.
Please see below image. On Dashboard ribbon you will see Show Global Filter button and that can be used to filter records.

Hi Phani Kumar,
Thank you for using Microsoft Dynamics Communities.
If you are refereing to OOB chart that are displayed based on specific view, is not possible add a filter since all displayed records were filtered based on View criteria. Maybe you could expand the records used to generated the chart, apply a filter and re-generated the chart again. Also, you could use Interactive Dashboards (mentioned by Bipin Kumar) or maybe a report or Power BI to achieve this.Best Regards,
