Hi All,

in our company, we have a shared mailbox among customer service people for websales processing. is it possible to have a alert in their Dynamics GP 10 when a new email comes into that mail box?

Hi,

Outlook profile is specific to user logged-in to the machine. However you can configure your mail applet in the control panel to manually select which outlook profile to use when ms outlook is launched (either manually or by any application e.g. Great Plains)

I wonder what would happen if you have multiple profiles set up in Outlook, which profile would GP pick up on the home page. I don't see an option in GP to select different outlook profiles.

sql alert in GP might be possible but an easier option is to use outlook create rule.
