Auto declaration property of extension field

Hello,

I have created extension table and added the new field. Field is also added to standard field group which is used on form.

As I wanted to make some changes to it's events, I copied it to form extension class, but I'm getting the error that the control isn't found in the form. This looks like to be because of "Autodeclaration" is set to "No" and I can't set to "Yes".

How should I enable it or what is the workaround for it?

Try something like:

var control = formRun.control(formRun.controlId(formControlStr(TheFormName, TheControlName))) as FormStringControl;

Maybe you have to replace formRun with "this" or something, but you get the idea. Or if you're working with events and handlers, the "sender" argument to the event would be the object.
