Where can I find solid documentation and examples for integrating with Dynamics SL using c#?

I've struggled for weeks trying to implement a basic integration. The documentation I have available to work with Dynamics SL 7.05 is fairly unhelpful. I've seen multiple people request some sample code to work with or a basic tutorial to insert data into Dynamics SL but haven't found any satisfactory answers. I can translate VB into C# easily enough so either would sufficient.

    We decided to throw out the object model implementation due to lack of available documentation.

    I have not found yet the C# template of vbtools, but I have the VB manuals, that you can download with this link
