I need to get the value of WorkedBy field in Queue Items and autopopulate to a text field in Case Entity . Is it possible to do a background workflow for this?

When somebody takes an item from the queue, worked by is supposed to become populated.
Actually, that probably means you do need that update trigger I mentioned as "just in case"

But I have found that none of the worked By field in any of the Queue is filled . How does the field worked By work ?

Create a workflow on the "Create" of the queue item entity (might also add a trigger on the update of worked by just in case), and, then, use "update record" step to update the case.. (then put "worked by" into the case field.. just like you would do with any other update record step)
