Setup detail Cross Docking between Warehouse (WMS)

Dear All,

Somebody can help me to show detail setup and flow process Cross docking in AX 2012 r3 cu10?

    Hi Kevin,

    Here are the point to point setup.

    • Create two warehouses A and B with retail check box selected in the retail  fast tab.
    • Add a number in the location weight field. e.g 25 for A and 75 for B
    • Create a retail store AA and BB and assign the above created warehouse to the store. ( Do only mandatory field entry)

    • Create an organization hierarchy with purpose of replenishment.
    • Add the above created retail store (warehouse) to the hierarchy.
    • Publish the hierarchy.
    • Create a replenishment rule form and add the store AA and BB in the form and add weight 30 for AA and 70 for BB
    • open service category and select the cross docking warehouse, warehouse and replenishment rule created above.
    • Open the vendor master and select the service category in the retail fast tab.
    • Create a PO for the vendor for an item for 100 qty..
    • Select cross docking in retail tab in the PO
    • Fill 100 in the cross docking quantity which you want to distribute from the PO.
    • In the warehouse tab select the method to distribute quantity to different warehouse. (
    • Select replenishment rule to distribute according to it. ( transfer order will be created as AA - 30 qty and BB - 70 qty)
    • Select location weight to use weight entered in the warehouse of the store. ( transfer order will be created as AA - 25 qty and BB - 75 qty)
    • select Fixed qty for all to distribute equally. ( transfer order will be created as AA - 50 qty and BB - 50 qty)
    • Click on calculate quantity 
    • Click on Create orders to create transfer orders.
