show and edit financial dimension on purch line grid

Hi

My customer wants to have the financial dimensions "Project" and "CostCenter" on the LineGrid in Form PurchTable.

The dimensions should be editable there.

e.g.

1. Dimension "Project" selected, "CostCenter" must be set from the ProjTable. "CostCenter" cannot be changed

2. NO DimensionValue in "Project", "CostCenter" can be selected

Changing the values in Grid, the DefaultDimension of the PurchLine must be updated.

How can I manage this (yes I know I have to implement some code, question is How)

    Hi Chris,

    I haven't got this requirement, but can try to guide you to some examples which are a bit different. The trial balance form has the option to split dimensions in columns. You can have a look how this is done. Using the default dimension patterns, it would be possible to add the dimensions in use to a field group. You can try to look how this has been achieved. 

    Also, you can try to see if edit methods would be possible here. For the condition, you should implement indeed some additional coding.

    I struggled doing the stuff like. Any other idea? Or maybe any suggestions how I can use the Edit and lookup Methods?
