User Has To Sign Into CRM Each Morning

Hello All,

I have a user here that is being asked to sign into CRM every morning in the Chrome browser. I have cleared her browser cache, history, and all passwords. I have also clicked "yes" on the keep me signed in prompt that comes after signing into CRM. Although that option helped for a day or so she is still having to sign in every morning. She is the only user that I am aware of that is having this issue. Everyone else is remaining signed in indefinitely. We are using the cloud based Dynamics 365 for sales.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Kokulan,

The user I am working with on this already that that option enabled in IE. She had to re-sign in both yesterday morning and this morning. I tried to give it a few days to see if it would be resolved. Any more ideas?

Hi

it is highly likely that all other users Internet Options is set auto-login using the current password. CRM still times out but browser logins again thats why users may not see this at all

Hello Kokulan,

Thank you for the response. I am wondering why then all other users in our office are staying signed in? They never had to re-sign in unless they have a password change. They are able to browse to CRM each and every morning without having to login again.

Hi

CRM Login session maximum time is 24 hours. It will ask the user to sign in every 24 hours. So it is an expected behaviour, you can reduce the session time but you cant increase it to be more than 24 hours and it is set for security reasons.

When it prompt to sign in, it should update all the open tabs and windows, they should not have to re-open all the records, its just the session will be updated.

The max value you can set is 1440 which is 24 hours, please see below
