Smart list Designer - Duplicate Lines

i am using smartlist designer to create a simple report showing a list of items with bin locations. 

Starting with the default "items" list I am adding table another table and linking using the item number. Tried left, centre and inner join.

when executing the report it returns two lines for each item, one of them with bin location and the other without.

i must be doing something wrong, anyone know what it is?

    Sounds like maybe you're getting both 'Site' and 'Overall' records types in your result set?

    Hi Alan,

    I agree with Frank please check whether you have selected both and change filter  condition to remove overall site.  If you still have problem,  export the smart list and see whether all records coming once or duplicating, sometime smartlist might show duplicates but when you export you will have only one record and no duplicates.
