35I've searched the community and the web to address this need. I'm contacted every PDF reporting tool vendors I can find and have not been able to find a solution for what I thought was a common need in the market:
- User select multiple rows on a CRM view.
- User clicks print to PDF button.
- A PDF file is downloaded to the local drive for each selected record.
- The name of each PDF file contains the Name of the record.
The wrench in this scenario is that all the offerings I've found:
- Prints reports for all the selected records into one large PDF file.
- Or only works with direct access to SSRS.
If there's no prepackaged offering that handles this, I'd be interested leveraging a PDF conversion library to build a workflow activity, but it has to be usable in a plugin, i.e., a single DLL.
Thoughts?
