Server Side Sync with Hybrid Exchange

Hello,

We are researching setting up server side sync to replace email router. Our Dynamics CRM environment is hosted locally while out exchange is a hybrid environment with mailboxes Online with the account local. On tech net I see instruction for setting up CRM (on premise) to both exchange online and exchange on premise. Which instruction set should I follow in this scenario?

This was a good article and there are a number of Microsoft Articles that work through the same process however Microsoft appear to have recently retired the power shell Active directory, I have not been able to find any documentation on how to use the azure portal to connect the 365 hybrid. The specific error when trying to use powershell to configure the connector asks for MSOnlineExtended Powershell support which seems to be unavailable.

I suspect what is happening is that MS are pushing us toward the Paid Subscriptions for Azure Active Directory and very likely the Premium P1 subscription at $7.60 per user per month.

We were able to get it up and working, is there a specific issue you are struggling with? The link Aric provided above was the main instructions we followed along the way to get it working.

We actually started an incident with MSC and they identified the issue as a change required to one of the scripts. I see someone else has responded with a solution however if that doesn't work for you I will find the changes required and post them in a reply.

Thank-you Reef and Ben. Back in February I was struggling to get a version of MSOnline PowerShell for Azure Active Directory that installed/worked. I'm past that but now the specific problem I'm having is with the PS script that configures the Certificate CRM uses can't establish a trust relationship.

I've got the password right and paths right - I get a different error if I flub the password on purpose. I'm using the user that the IIS app pool and site runs under. I'm using the same Cert CRM is running on for our IFD (Valid Cert from GoDaddy).
