Hi all, i'm having some trouble installing fixed assets management, we are thinking on implementing it. we are on GP 10 sp 5
I first add this feature from control panel -> programs, then select to install FAM after it finishes, the first time I didn't install the SP, and it gave me an error, I then installed the SP and ask me to go into utilities, pretty normal procedura so far, but then on the utilities I get an error message that there's an older version of GP, that I should upgrade the DB.
How can this be fixed? I had a similiar error on a new client installation wich after applying the service pack they tried to instal manufacture and gave them the same error, but since it was a clean install they uninstalled the client ans started from scratch, I wouldn't want to do the same with this client.
Also if I uninstall FAM I can open GP with out any problems.

Try getting rid of 6499 (Always take backup!)

Hi Sanjay, thanks for the reply.
The client is running fine, that is until I add the FAM module wich takes me to this error, I have checked the duintall file and there are a list of item with just 3 errors that say that it's not possible to update product 6499 from version 10.0.1458
wich product 6499 is the Dynamics Online Services. And also this seems to be an old message, I can't find anything regarding FAM.
Any other ideas on fixeng this issue?
