Other users cant see Alerts in the Action centre

Hi everyone

I have setup an alert when changes are made to supplier bank details. I have two issues when testing:

- an email is generated and received by the correct recipient, however, when they clicked on the link in the email a message is received... "You are unable to navigate directly to this menu item vendbankaccounts"

- the other issue is that although i see the alert in my Action center the email recipient is not

    Are you the one who defined the url in the email being sent to the recipient ? You should not direct user to ........mi=vendbankaccounts as this will display all bank account in the system.

    Enable the Send notifications to Action Center  for the user in user option.

    Does it matter who created the Alert? Since i created the Alert the User ID field (in Alert rules) it had my name. I wonder if it should be the name of the email recipient?

    The User ID is for the user which you want to get an alert in the notification center. You can always change the User ID as long as you are an administrator.

    The recipient field is used when you want to send email regarding the business event.

    Hi Alert rules can not be seen by all, it can be seen who created in the form, however if that user has access of Sys admin- Alert rules, they can see all the rules created in the system.

    Hi Ajmal,

    As the vendbankaccounts menu item is not accessible directly from the main menu, the user will get this error. Only with a system administrator role, the link will work, but you should not assign this role to business users.

    To be able to get alerts in an action center, the alert needs to be setup per user.
