prepayments on purchase orders for Lithuania

Application – MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3 (version 6.3.5000.133)

In the legal entity, which address is in LTU, there is disabled process of prepayment invoices in the Account Payable module.

We are going to use process for prepayments on purchase orders. But in the legal entity, which address is in LTU, on the Action Pane of purchase order tab “Purchase”, there is no button “Prepayment”. In the General ledger parameters form, the check box “Use posting definitions” is not selected.

We could not find in any official documentation, that Accounts Payable Prepayments are country specific functionality. Why in legal entities, which address belongs to EEU regions, process of prepayments is disabled?

Hi Inga,

As far as I am informed, there is a special prepayment functionality available for EE countries.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of a localization document for AX2012 systems but for AX2009, you can find them on customer source here: mbs.microsoft.com/.../course80016 (requires Login).

If this does not help, please get into contact with your local MS support. They might be able to help you getting this resolved.
