This does not work for other countries where they have very large currency numbers entered, like Jamaica - especially for one that has Wholesale as well and sells larger amounts of merchandise.

Any other ideas? I am looking into the Scanner programming.

    Thx

Understand that a scanner is just like a keyboard and if it sees a barcode it with scan it and enter it wherever you are.

My suggestion would be to put a limit on each Tender, say 10,000.00 and if it goes beyond it, it will prompt the cashier.

    Jeff,

I have a customer that has a USB scanner that when they scan an item and the SKU item box on the screen isn't highlighted it will automatically put the UPC scanned in the cash tendered and checkout the customer. The customer understands that the SKU box has to be highlighted but sometimes while they are really busy it hard to make sure and we are thinking that this shouldn't tender the transaction automatically for them. It would be one thing if it would error out or if it warned you.

    Thanks

In the future, buy USB scanners, plug them in and start scanning
