Export users and roles to Excel

Hello,

I am looking to export all the users and their roles in one simple overview (preferably in Excel). I have figured out how to export the users but I can't find the correct settings to export them with their roles in one file.

This is in Dynamics F&O.

Help would be much appreciated!

Hi Mirsad,

Run the report given in the below path and see whether its help you.

System administration > Inquiries > Security > Role to user assignments

On the report screen - Top left corner there will be an export drop down button. Click on that and select excel.

Got it! I had a different UI with the option to change destination. That's when it showed the same as your screenshot.

Hi Mirsad,

You can also use Open in Excel or Data management to get the users and role assignments in Excel. See also my blog: Move all user and security settings with data entities - Dynamicspedia

Hi Jupi,

Under System administration >> Inquiries >> License >> User License counts >> Ran this report and check whether it meets your required data - Make sure to check the "Show list of users per access license type" slider and also give the date value.

Hi Jupi, You can export data from 'User Licence Counts' report from System Administration-->Enquiries-->Licence-->User Licence Counts

thanks, but this method is only in FinOps. I want to do in normal dynamcis 365 CRM. Don't have F&O
