Dears,

I have financial dimensions Country and Market.

In case the user selects a country they need to select the corresponding market. This is achieved using an advanced rule and work well when the country is mandatory.

In case the country FD is blank I want the market FD also blank.

Is there anyway to achieve this.

Hi,

Can you please try to use derived dimensions for this purpose.

I've never tried but you may give it a shot.

Thanks for the reply.

I will try your solution.

We are importing the data from external system through integration rather data entry.

Is there any way we can keep the advanced rule as optional. Ie if country not given no need to check market. In case country given corresponding market should be choosed.
