Changing maximum file size for attachment - system format error

I am experiencing an issue with changing the maximum size for attachment in Dynamics CRM on-premise.

The default setting on production instance was 5.120 kilobytes. I tried changing max file size to 15.000, but the following occurs:

- When I type in 15.000, the system immediately trims all the zeros and displays 15.

- If I type in 5.120, the system immediately trims 120, and displays 5.

I tried various options, with and without the dot separator between numbers, but result is the same.

I experienced the same issue with changing maximum length of a description field on Task entity - when I tried to change max length to 6.000, system trimmed the zeros and I was left with 6 char max. length.

Production instance is on-premise, version: 8.2.5.4

It looks like it could be an issue with system formats, but I can't seem to find the real cause for this issue.

Anyone with similar error?

Hi Partner,

Can you check the format by navigating to Settings -> Administration -> System settings -> Formats

Click on customize button to see the format for numbers and accordingly you can change the same
