Has anyone experienced unexplained loss of data in the GP2010 Word Templates? In the last 3 months, I have created SOP and PO word templates for 2 companies, emailed the document as both a pdf or word document to the customer for approval, only to find that some weeks later when the user start using the template, some data and text fields are missing. There is no pattern to what is missing, some report header text and data fields, some Body, some Page footer. Fortunately, I have the saved email with the modified template attached to refer back to, otherwise I would think I was going crazy!
The reports dictionary is unchanged, mapped to a shared location on the server, the Report Writer version of the modified layout prints fine, and if I open the Word template in GP to modify it, that too looks perfect.
Any suggestions?
