Modifying OOTB Web Template "Knowledge Management - Most Popular Articles"

Hello there!

I added a custom field in Knowledge Article entity named 'MustRead' as a boolean. Was able to filter KnowledgeArtciles to view with value = Yes in EntityList.

Just wondering if it's okay to edit the OOTB (out of the box) Web Template 'Knowledge Management - Most Popular Articles' to view the list where MustRead is Yes. How am I going to do that filtering? Could you please give me any ideas on how to.
