EDITING QUANTITY TO SHIP FIELD IN WAREHOUSE SHIPMENT FOR ADVANCED WAREHOUSE CONFIGURATION

is it possible to edit the qty to ship field in warehouse shipment lines for advanced warehouse configuration. I tried to do so but it is throwing me an error message as show on the attached screenshot. Is this how standard Navision works, or it was a customisation which was done for nav2018 not to allow to edit the quantity to ship field.

the issue seems obvious. the qty picked is zero, which means the items haven't been picked and registered. The pick is a prerequisite for a shipment to be shipped.

check if a pick has been created. If no, create one and handle it prior to the shipment.

As suggested, please press on "Create Pick", then open the pick and Register it to be able to complete this Warehouse Shipment

These restrictions are imposed by your Location Setup

my question exactly. I know you can ration the quantities during picking process and when you register the pick the qty to ship field is automatically filled on the warehouse shipment.

My question, is this the standard Navision functionality or it is a customisation for Navision not to allow editing of qty to ship on the warehouse shipment before the picking process so that at the picking process you can pick the values entered on the qty to ship field on the warehouse shipment.
