Hi all ,

In ax 2012 we have a system table called sysmodelmanifest which has all the models but when i check the same on d365 I am unable to see the model that i created  . Please let me know in which system table a newly created model is stored ?

I have the same question (0)

    Moved to D365 Finance forum.

Not sure if it's in the database, seems that SysModelManifest contains only some standard models.

But you can find the ID in the model descriptor file in /PackagesLocalDirectory/YourPackage/Descriptor in a dev system.

What do you need it for?

I m trying to list all the objects that are created in my model . I have implemented the same on ax2012 but for d365 the same code does not work . If there is some link or reference on how we can list all the objects under d365 please attach it  here .

You can see all the objects by right clicking AOT and selecting Model view.

You can also see all the objects in Azure DevOps.

So what's the purpose of writing x++ code to list the same elements? To me it seems that you might use some other solution to solve your business requirement. And the best thing is that you don't need to develop anything, therefore saving effort and money.

Anyway here's a blog that doesn't fit to your requirement 1:1 but you should be able to apply it to your situation: stoneridgesoftware.com/.../

It's in the descriptor. BUT, these IDs and their meaning is changing, and we're not worrying about compatibility. So please I urge you not to use this for anything.

To see everything in your mode, there's lots of ways to do it. Just go to the model's folder and see the XMLs. Source control? Or filter your AOT into "model view" (right-click to change view between classic and model).

If you need this at runtime, I'm curious what the scenario is.
