Is it advisable to create a new custom field in an adx entity?

Hi anyone,

I am trying to understand a best approach, for a customization requirement in my organization and there has come up a suggestion which includes creating a new field in one of the adx entities (adx_webformstep). I am just wanting to know whether this would be a good approach or to best put it a supported Microsoft customization? Can anyone please help with is?

it's a supported customization, keep in mind that if you want to uninstall the Portals solution, you will need to remove your customizations first.
