Hi,

In AX 2012 client configuration, what are the differences between these three options when creating a new configuration:

1. Save Configuration file

2. Save Configuration as a file.

3. Export Configuration to a file.

Also what is the difference between Active Configuration and Original Configuration?

Original configuration is what you have provided during the first installation on the environment.

Active configuration is the currently selected one, in case you have provided multiple configurations for the same user account on the same server.
