Limiting User access to identified Creditors only ?

I have a question about How to limit user access to a group of Creditors?
We need to restrict a particular User to be able to Inquire or take reports only for specified creditors. Is there a way to do this in Great Plains or any module which will help with to enable restrictions please?
I am Just wondering if someone can advise me.

Hi Shobha,

What you are looking for is record-level security. The only record-level security you have in GP is at the GL account. You can restrict people from accessing certain GL accounts.

David Musgrave, a brilliant Dexterity programmer, studied the concept and did a Proof on Concept. I do not think anything has progressed since then. You can read David's article at the following link:

There is still hope because Mohammad R. Daoud is working on a tool:

Seems like the Sales eCommerce solution allowed you to set up access from the portal client using record-level security, but that didn't change anything in GP.
