Hi all,

Is it possible to setup D365 Finance for not for profit organization? I have set up a legal entity but cant set it up as not for profit. It is crucial to do this as financial statements etc will be different.

Any guidance will be helpful!

Thanks!

    Hi,
Yes it is.  You will need to activate the "Public Sector" configuration key, which will add features and functions particular to government and non-profit (see below).

Financial statements usually requires using Financial Reporting to design the statements to your organisation's requirements. There is plenty of references online but here is a starting point:  https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/finance/general-ledger/financial-reporting-getting-started
