Create Word Template from Modfied report

Hi there,

I have created a Word Template from the modifed RM Blank Document. The modified report is fairly extensively modified with lots of new calculated fields, section size changes,etc. I have given access to the modified version and it is not an upgraded version from a previous version of GP. We are using GP 2010. The problem is now that when I open the template in Word and open Field List, the XML Section is totally empty - there are no report sections showing. Has anybody any idea what the problem may be?

This was a bug in RTM and has been resolved with the SP1 release.

Jo,

By chance have you upgraded to SP1 yet? I have noticed that this hasn't happened to me since I upgraded. Just a thought....

You can print the modified version of the standard report to an XML file and then try to import it as the XML source for the template.
