Updating event registration with additional fields

Hi,

We are using the standard event registration form but with a couple of additional custom fields - e.g. number of people attending. You can't map those directly to the event registration record on the form. We have tried using a workflow and the JSON steps but we can't work out how to link the form submission to the event registration (which we think is being generated automatically by the form).

Any ideas?

What does "You can't map those directly to the event registration record on the form. " mean?

In the Event section, If you create some cusom registration fields, these will be added to your event registrations when they are made.

Is this what you are referring too?
