Hello,
We currently work with a customer which has many Service (FS) countries where we are gonna implement Field Service. Many countries wants to have specific country field service settings, which is not what I'm advocating because I want the Service processes and all the field service settings to be set and used globally instead of adding specific values for each country and adding it locally.
What do you think about that approach? Is it better to use Work Order Types, Incident Types, Sub statuses and all the settings to be set globally, or should be set country specific options? I find it extremely wasteful since in the actual reality all the service organizations works the same but they don't actually understand that when a new system is implemented and also that the admin work will increase enormously if each country decides their own and also the follow up will then be hard globally.
Any input? Your thoughts?
Can you share more details on your requirements?
I would be interested to hear more about that and what other community members think.
I general, I would agree with your thoughts.
Having multiple sub statuses incident types etc.. per region might require additional region specific customizations to ensure process consistency.
I also see challenges on reporting requirements on the entities you stated, as you might need to hardcode queries per region.
