Is there no built in RDLC Layout for report 1322 - Purchase order, as when using and opening in report layout builder, its just a blank page....?

In addition to the missing (or better blank) standard layout of the RDLC version of report 1322, there is another problem:

Whereby all PurchLine related and standard header fields work, I always get a blank return value for all fields beginning with "Total" such as TotalAmountInclVAT. In the Word version of this report, the fields are working fine.

Any ideas how to get these fields without having to do maths from the purchase lines?

After some more testing, to me it looks like an issue with the field associations of Business Central for RDLC and table 1322: while are header fields and line-related fields are working fine, the “total” fields either report wrong amounts or no amount at all.

To reproduce, I have created a simple report “test.rdl” (in the attachment called text.xml due to upload limitations) which calls all common total fields. You can find the output in “result.pdf”.

What happens is that “TotalInclVAT” actually returns the amount without VAT while "AmountIncludingVAT" is the only field returning correct output. All other fields do not return any value. In the test order, VAT as well as an order discount have been applied. So, you should see values for VAT amount and discount amount.

All fields work correctly when using Word format.

I have opened a ticket for that but maybe someone else has had the same issue and can suggest a workaround?

Report 405 could be an alternative solution but unfortunately it does not provide any due date or expected delivery date for POs.

    Peter,

Charlie is using NAV. BC is a totally different world and I have a Word Layout but RDLC I do not as well.

    Charlie,

As for NAV, it probably is missing but your Partner can help you here.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Hi, you can download and install a NAV of the same version, then export the object you need in the development environment and import it into your production environment. If it is a fob file, this does not require a development license.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.
