Activities popup / Modal dialog in "Sales Hub" can this be done in "custom" app?

Hi,

I see in the sales hub that when i go to activies in the left pane and click ex. task, appointment etc. It opens as a popup.

However i plan to create my own "Sales hub". With just a few entitys included in the Sales Hub.

I create the app and base it on the Sales Hub Application. However the functionality described above is missing in my own app. (It just opens in the same window / replaces the current window)

Can this be solved?

    Please see below for further explanation. This is the behavior of the "Sales Hub". But my "Copy" of the sales hub doesn't include this logic...

    1) Select Activities

    2) Select Task and it will open as modal popup. It seems like it doesn't care what form i select. The logic is somehow coded in the app and include all forms on tasks. (But also phone calls, emails etc)

    Based on Microsoft documentation : docs.microsoft.com/.../manage-activities

    This feature is introduced as part of Sales solution as below - it's only working for Sales Enterprise/Sales professional App:

    Note

    With the April 2020 release of Dynamics 365 Sales, when you create or edit a new activity, the record opens in a Main form dialog. A Main form dialog is a Main form opening in a dialog (a pop-up window). Main form dialogs allow you to stay in context while working on one record with the ability to open a second or third record in dialog experience. This makes it easier to edit the records.

    But you could raise this insight on Microsoft Ideas Portal to be considered in future releases

    Hi,

    Did you confirm with Microsoft that this is only possible in the "Sales Hub" application?  I have also noticed the same and would like to configure the same in our custom Sales app.
