"Sales and Inventory Forecast" Extension

Hi:
 
After enabling the /Sales and Inventory Forecast/ extension, I reviewed several Item Cards and specifically the /Forecast/ web part on the right.
 
When I choose /Show Sales Forecast/ on this web part for any item, it shows blank.
 
Why?  How can I get a Sales Forecast to show for any of the items?

    the blank sales forecast could due to 2 reasons. first you need to ensure the setup is correct and the job has run per setup. 
    second, you need to ensure you have sufficient historical data so the forecast could be using to create a forecast. In most cases, user might not have sufficient data for an item. 
    in this case, find an item with lots of transaction, and it has a better change to show a forecast.
