Wrong Financial Dimensions Carry over to a Writeoff Journal

Hello all -

I'm hoping someone can help me with this frustrating scenario. I've posted a free text invoice where all Lines and Header financial dimensions were entered to be the same.
When I 'Write off' the invoice I'm not seeing these dimensions on the expense side of the journal. They do come across on the customer line though.

Here are the dimensions entered on the free text invoice:

Lines

Header

Here is the auto created write off journal. I have no idea where the dimensions linked to account 57000 are defaulting from.
I've checked all journal names, main accounts, customers and have not found any defaulted dimensions.

Where else could a defaulted dimension be pulling from.

Appreciate any help from the forum group.

Thanks,
Barry

    Hi Barry,

Can you please check this feature? Also on GL parameters  > Ledger tab> accounting rule (Source document or ledger distribution)

I think , on offset there must be something different , like if you have two invoices and you are writing off both togather and they both have different dimensions originally.

Saurabh - The feature you mentioned was previously enabled several months ago. On the GL parameters Ledger tab the accounting rule is set to Accounting Distributions. I believe that if I change to Source Document the dimensions will be pulled from dimensions entered on the Header of the source document. Is that correct?  Also there was only one invoice included in my write-off.

Waed - The customer does not have defaulted dimensions.

Thank you both for your responses.
