Management Reporter 2012 CU14

Hello:

We are on Management Reporter 2012 CU13, with the legacy provider, and are considering eventually applying CU14 in order to speed up the generating of financial statements.

If we were to eventually upgrade to CU14, would we have to first be on the Data Mart instead of the Legacy Provider?

If so, does the Data Mart on CU14 still have to be recreated whenever any changes to the chart of accounts and other financial elements in GP are changed?

    1) No, CU14 still has both options

    2) After the initial install (it's recommended that a data mart be rebuilt after an upgrade) I've only had to rebuild the data mart for the following reasons -

    --Because the 4-5 hours needed for us to rebuild is quicker than waiting 24+ hours for our AA data to integrate (we have a lot of data, and maybe CU15 will help us, it's right around the corner)

    --Whenever we change account categories MR doesn't seem to pick the change up unless there is new activity.  

    New account codes etc are part of the data mart process that looks every minute right out of the box.

    As RogerRogerATX had mentioned MR 2012 CU14 still has both options for Legacy and Data Mart.
